Dobbo is a versatile, hands-on stereo granular processor designed for creating lush clouds, rhythmic textures, and controlled chaotic soundscapes. It features a 5-second sampling buffer, intuitive controls for grain size, rate, direction, and pitch, plus a unique "Chance" knob for generative, randomized modulation.

Dobbo is designed to spark curiosity and inspire new sonic directions. With elements of randomness, controlled chaos, and evolving textures, it invites you to explore sounds you didn’t know you were looking for.

Dobbo takes small bits of sound and rearranges them. It can stretch, pitch and blur these bits, or transform them into rhythmic textures. 

What makes Dobbo special is that you can decide to let it take control. Based on chance, it finds infinitely new and exciting ways to interact with your sound. It’s a creative partner with endless surprises up its sleeve. 

Core Functionality:  Dobbo operates as a granular effect, constantly recording incoming audio to create, manipulate, and rearrange grains (small pieces of sound).

Key Controls:  Features include Rate (grain generation speed), Size (10ms to 1s), Pitch (tape-like re-pitching), Direction (forward, reverse, mixed), Space (panning/reverb), and Mix.

"Chance" Knob:  This feature allows you to introduce random modulation to the Rate, Time, Size, and Pitch parameters, with independent depth control for each, allowing for generative, evolving textures.

Hold Mode:  Allows players to lock in the current buffer, freezing the audio for infinite, evolving manipulation.

Interface & Build:  Known for a hands-on, user-friendly interface with minimal menu-diving (no dipswitches). It can be used as a desktop unit or a stompbox.

Connections:  Includes stereo input/output, and Expression/MIDI control for shaping parameters externally.
